Setting up a Slide Show

To set up your slide show, click on the Slide Show drop-down menu and choose Set Up Show . The Set Up Show window appears.

Choose the type of show you want on the left-hand side of the window and select which slides you are going to use on the right, we have picked up the custom show we have created.  You can choose whether to advance your slides manually or using the timings on the right-hand side of the window, it is better to use the manual setting if a speaker is present so they can control the speed at which the slides advance. If you plan to highlight items with the pen tool as you deliver the presentation, set a pen colour in this window. When you are happy, click the OK button and your presentation will run in the way you have set when you view it. This setup will also be used as the basis of the packed presentation if you use Pack and Go.
