Aligning Drawing Objects

If you have trouble aligning your drawing objects, click on the shape and then click on the  or distribution. Select the Relative to Slide option to centre items over the whole slide.

Here is an example of how shapes can be laid on top of each other to make a target design, we will animate this shape later.

This shape was constructed by drawing a circle from the centre out (using the cross guide lines as a starting point) by holding down CTRL and SHIFT while dragging.  The first circle was filled with a red colour, the next with white, the next with red and so on. If we did not want to animate the individual components of this design once we had created it we could group the circles together to make one whole shape (this is useful when you do not want to risk the components of a design like this becoming displaced later on).
