Adding Items to a Chart

If you want to add extra text to your chart, e.g. a sub-title or a box containing comments, then you can click on the Text Box from the Drawing toolbar and then drag out a box in the required position on your chart. When you have dragged the box to size you can simply type in your text and then format it as you would for other text objects on the chart.

If you failed to set a title or want to remove the legend or add a data table then you will need to return to the Options section of the Chart Wizard. The easiest way to do this is to click your right mouse button over the white background of your completed chart and choose Chart Options or click on the Chart drop-down menu and choose Chart Options, this will display the window for setting the axes, legend, data table, titles and gridlines as described elsewhere.

To add an extra series see here.

To add the equation of a trendline see here.
